Julie Harrelson, Partner

Julie Harrelson is an entrepreneur and investor in Oregon’s startup community. She has navigated multiple executive roles in design, technology, and angel investing and founded Cascade Angels Fund in Bend, Oregon in 2013 with a group of entrepreneurs and investors.  She serves as Managing Director of Cascade Seed Fund and is Fund Manager for all predecessor Cascade Angels Funds.

Harrelson is invited to speak at industry conferences and events and has presented “Best Practices in Building and Managing Angel Funds and Groups” at the international Angel Capital Association Summit in Philadelphia.

The 2017 Bend Woman of the Year and a 2014 Woman of Influence Award winner, Julie is an active member of the Angel Capital Association and serves on the board of the Oregon State University Advantage Accelerator, the Board of Advisory Directors of the Central & Eastern Oregon Region of U.S. Bank National Association and is a founding member of the Center for Women’s Leadership at Portland State University.

Robert Pease, Partner

Robert Pease has over 20 years of experience as an investor, founder, operational executive, and consultant. He serves as Managing Director of Cascade Seed Fund as well as Venture Partner to the 2014-2017 Cascade Angels Funds and Fund Manager for Cascade Angels Fund V. His experience includes early stage company formation and growth to scaling and exit and has been a seed stage investor since 2011.

He was previously CEO of LoopFuse, Inc. (sold to Salesfusion then acquired by SugarCRM), Vice President of Marketing at Gist, Inc. (sold to Blackberry, Ltd.), and has held a variety of senior marketing and product roles in four other venture-backed technology startups. He began his career as a management consultant with Accenture’s Global Communications and Technology practice based in Washington, DC.  He holds a BBA in Finance from the University of Georgia and an MBA from the University of Tennessee.
